Soccer Star in the Making!

This is an osprey that lives in a nest on the George Washington Parkway in Alexandria. I have tried to photograph her many times. Today, I had success!

The Cherry Blossoms have peaked! We went to DC this morning to see them! They were magnificent!

Spring Break has arrived!

Today is the first day of spring break and we are in Kennett Square, PA. We visited Longwood Gardens. They are hosting an orchid show! It was incredible. Here are a few of my favorite photos!

Spring is in the air!

Spring break begins in two weeks and that is not soon enough! The children are getting antsy! Adults are getting antsy! Temperatures are rising and birds are singing loudly! You can sense that the seasons are about to change. After the winter we had, I think most are very ready for Spring. We had a chance to get out and enjoy some of the beautiful weather we've had recently. We went to our favorite place, Burke Lake Park and had a fun time playing outside.

In the past couple of weeks we have celebrated 18 years of marriage, visited Mt Vernon with a friend from Latvia, and gotten a ton of snow! The birds enjoyed the snow!

Longwood Gardens Visit

Erik and his family met us at Longwood Gardens this morning. We had a wonderful visit. It was so nice to see the kids playing together and enjoying being outside. The gardens and weather were gorgeous! It was a glorious day!
