Longwood Gardens Visit

Erik and his family met us at Longwood Gardens this morning. We had a wonderful visit. It was so nice to see the kids playing together and enjoying being outside. The gardens and weather were gorgeous! It was a glorious day!

A beautiful afternoon shot! The snow is now melting and will soon be gone. We enjoyed it while it lasted!

Merry Christmas! Here is my gift from "nature!" The blue jays showed the other day when I threw out peanuts for the squirrels!

Because we were locked in the house all day, I baked cookies and we decorated them. We aren't really decorators! In spite of our lack of talent, we had a good time!

A day in the park

Fall is here! The leaves are beginning to change. The kids continue to play well on their soccer teams. Today was a glorious day for soccer games and a family picnic. Enjoy a few pictures!

The end of summer

The summer is coming to an end! It has been a great summer! We are settled into our new home and are settling into different routines. The kids are both in soccer leagues, so we are balancing practices, games, work, housework, and the Girls! It will get easier! Here are some of my favorite photos of the creatures who have visited our garden this summer.

This guy wanted to go into the garden, but Olivia was nearby. He kept checking to see if she had left so he could come up. He did this three times before finally coming out! As soon as he was comfortable, Olivia spotted him and tried to catch him! She was unsuccessful!
